Fatuma Abdulkadir Adan has been appointed as the Director of Sports Diplomacy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Her alma mater, Chevening, commended her for the appointment noting that her efforts in the legal world as well as her peace-building activities have earned her great acclaim over the years.

“We are elated by Fatuma Abdulkadir Adan’s appointment to Director of Sports Diplomacy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kenya. She is a recipient of Chevening Fellowship 2006 where she went to the University of Birmingham to pursue Islamic Sharia and Governance,” the institution said in a statement.
