With the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections approaching, FKF Presidential aspirant Hussein Mohammed has voiced serious concerns regarding the transparency and communication from the FKF Electoral Board. Mohammed highlighted the increasing frustration among stakeholders due to the lack of clear information on crucial electoral processes.
“Time is not on our side; we are getting worried. Information from the board needs to improve,” Mohammed remarked. “The board needs to be clear in how they communicate and very transparent in how they are managing the entire process.”
He emphasized the need for immediate updates on several key issues, such as the location of polling centers and the verification process for clubs at the grassroots level. “Where are the polling centers for the upcoming elections? Is the board going to the grassroots to get the club verification process done?” he asked.
Mohammed also raised concerns about the format for submitting petitions, especially for branches that are dissatisfied with the voter register, and called for swift action to ensure a free, fair, and credible election process.
Meanwhile, the FKF Electoral Board published key 2024 Elections Documents on Monday, including the clubs register. The published documents are:
