Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya will no longer be a witness in the Arror and Kimwarer case.

This is after prosecution failed to lead Munya to testify over the Ksh.63 billion corruption scandal.

The former CS was supposed to testify against former CS Henry Rotich and others but instead said that they are dropping him as a witness.

Early this week, the court issued warrant of arrest against Munya after he failed to present himself in court to testify.

He presented himself in court on Thurstday, August 31, and after taking to the dock the prosecution applied for an adjournment saying that they are not ready.

The magistrate declined to adjourn the matter, thereby forcing the prosecution to drop Munya as their witness.

The trial magistrate gave a warning to anybody trying to interfere with the case including non-production of witnesses saying that he will resist to exercise his powers and cite parties for contempt of court.
