Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga was on Wednesday night arrested by police at the Olosurutia area in Kajiado County.

Njenga was arrested alongside his two brothers and his personal assistant Ole Lekishe.

According to his father Stephen Njoroge, police officers in four vehicles forcibly entered the home at around 8.00 pm on Wednesday.

“This is against human rights. It is bad for police to storm a home, beat people without any reason,” Njoroge said, adding that domestic workers at the home were also beaten by police.
