Four people perished on Monday night at Migaa near Sachangwan, Nakuru County, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway after a truck carrying firewood towards Nakuru collided with a Canter ferrying tomatoes in the opposite direction.

Migaa area chief Zachary Monari said three of the deceased were aboard the truck ferrying firewood while one was in the other truck.

Another was injured and was taken to Coptic Hospital in Salgaa.
