Four people were killed after a bus traveling from Nairobi to Moyale was involved in an accident

four people died and several others were injured on Friday morning in a road accident involving a bus at Gof Chopa area on the Marsabit-Moyale Road.

The bus, operated by Soores company, was traveling from Nairobi to Moyale via Marsabit when the accident occurred around 5:30 am. Marsabit County Police Commander Nyambu Mwakio confirmed the fatalities, which included two men, a woman, and a girl.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident. The injured are receiving treatment at Marsabit County Referral Hospital, while the bodies of the deceased have been moved to the same facility’s morgue.
