Tanzanian boxer Karim Mandonga has warned Kenyan Daniel Wanyonyi that he should be ready for a proper beating as he has come with a new fist, when the two clash in a re-match on Saturday at the Sarit Expo Centre.

Mandonga, christened ‘Mtu Kazi’ beat Wanyonyi when they clashed for the first time in Janury in a middleweight non-title fight and the two are due for a re-match with the Tanzanian boasting of another beating.

He says he has come with a new fist from Russia, christened ‘Kinguki’, different from his famed ‘Sungunyo’ that he landed with during the first bout.

“The first time I came with Sungunyo from Ukraine and now I am back with another one called Kinguki, and this one is from Russia. It always goes forward, never backward. When the Russians send out a missile for work, it has to accomplish the purpose. I will accomplish mine,” Mandonga said as he landed at the JKIA.

He added; “I have prepared well and planned well and he must know that he will be beaten whether he likes it or not.”

“I have come to represent my country and I am here to work. I believe I will beat him. I don’t know in which round. I have never promised that. Whether it is the first, second or by knockout, I don’t know. But I will beat him.”

The Wanyonyi vs Mandonga bout will be the showstopper after several undercards, and the Tanzanian has promised that he will do more of his talking on the canvas.

“Many people say that I talk a lot. But the truth is that I talk and I do my work in the ring. I will give him a beating of a cat. I have taken over him, and I even took over his team Ingwe ya Matere (AFC Leopards).
