President William Ruto’s youngest son, George Ruto, has set tongues wagging after a cheerful outdoor video showing him posing and embracing an unidentified woman went viral on TikTok.
The clip, posted by @shantelkosgei on Saturday, September 12, was filmed in a driveway outside an upscale multi-storey building, with palm trees visible in the background.
Did George Ruto embrace woman?
George wore a black T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers, while the woman beside him sported dark cargo pants and a brown hoodie.
A black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, believed to belong to George, was parked just behind the pair.
In the lighthearted video, the two took turns throwing their arms around each other before sharing a warm embrace.
At one point, George placed his hand on the woman’s shoulder before seemingly gesturing to the person filming to stop recording.
The video has attracted extra attention given the months of public speculation surrounding George and popular educator and content creator Teacher Cillah. Cillah had made no secret of her admiration for George.
The two eventually met in person, and during that encounter George appeared to put the romantic speculation to rest.
“I came first of all to set the record straight, niko na bibi wewe, but I think that it was good while it lasted,” he said, suggesting he is already in a relationship.
With that context fresh in viewers’ minds, the new video of George with a different, unnamed woman only added fuel to the curiosity.
It remains unclear who the woman in the clip is, and neither George nor anyone close to him has offered a public explanation.
