Veteran Kenyan journalist Jeff Koinange has made his TV comeback after a six-month absence.
Koinange, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, made a surprise appearance on his signature show, ending the anxiety and speculations among his fans.
The veteran journalist scoffed at the viral rumours claiming he had passed away, joking that for the last 2,000 years, no one has risen from the dead.
“The news of my death has been exaggerated. For 2000 years hakuna mtu amefufuka!” Jeff said.
“I’m back… like I never left. It’s great to be back.”

Still joking about the online rumours surrounding him, he questioned how Kenyans could just kill him.
“Walikua wameniua… how? How?” he posed.

He then went on to draw a black T-shirt labelled ‘Lazarus’ and displayed it on TV, just to show that he had risen from the death rumours.
The rumours of his death had spread rapidly on social media, leaving many followers shocked and prompting an outpouring of condolences.
