Harmonize warns Baba Levo against blindly supporting Diamond Platnumz

Tanzanian musician Harmonize has publicly criticised Baba Levo, the recently elected Member of Parliament for Kigoma, accusing him of blindly supporting Diamond Platnumz while failing to acknowledge the shortcomings of the WCB boss.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Kidedea crooner insisted that Diamond has done little for Baba Levo, apart from offering photo opportunities, and criticised the MP for routinely complaining whenever they meet in casinos.

You personally, Diamond, are not helping yourself with anything apart from taking photos with him. Your work is to complain every time we meet at the casino; that’s your plan so you can always make money, yet you are a member of Parliament,” Harmonize wrote.

He warned that one day Baba Levo would be forced to disclose who actually funded his political campaigns, pointing out that if Diamond is strict with his own family, an outsider like Baba Levo should understand the limitations of his support.

“One day, you will face the truth when you are forced to come clean about who provided the funds for your campaigns, especially when Mama Rubi comes after you. You should ask yourself: if Diamond is strict with his own siblings, how about you as an outsider? And whoever paid for Diamond to attend your meetings, will you reveal that? Considering how quick you are to twist narratives, I am sure you will not withstand the pressure; the seat will be too hot for you. What you should know is that Diamond is tired of being praised every time,” he added.

He further highlighted instances where Diamond misled other artistes, such as Angela, who was promised collaborations that never came to fruition, and Ibraah, whose exit from the label was facilitated with legal assistance from Diamond but did not result in sustained support or promotion of his music afterwards.

“Let’s talk about Angela. You, Baba Levo, were on the front line, claiming I was not treating her well while she was in my Konde Gang label. And now, because she needed to go to the hospital and Diamond promised to take her, did he? Also, the collaboration with Zuchu that Diamond promised her after leaving my label, did it ever happen? And Ibraah, after you supported him to leave my label, why are you not promoting his songs now?” he added.

Harmonize also reflected on past attempts by Baba Levo and his supporters to undermine him, noting that he withstood considerable stress without resorting to drugs, and despite these challenges, he has continued to thrive in his music career.

He framed the current controversies as largely performative, emphasising that his resilience and success are rooted in his faith and continued backing from his Konde Gang foundation.

“So all you wanted were your selfish ambitions and to bring me down, you and everyone who supports them. I promise you, even back then, when you hatched a bad plan against me, I did not resort to drugs because of the stress you caused, and I did not die. Now, everything you attempt is just drama, because God is Konde Gang’s number one supporter,” he wrote.
