A paedophile covered in tattoos and horns raped a child at knifepoint and handcuffed the child in a six-year reign of terror.

Stefan Farbrother, 47, repeatedly subjected the victim to an “appalling and terrifying campaign” of abuse

He held a knife to the child’s throat in one sex attack and restrained the child using handcuffs.

Farbrother has now been jailed for 18 years after he was convicted of a string of offences, including multiple rapes.

The ordeal started in 1991 when the serial predator carried out a number of attacks on the young victim.

His evil crimes only stopped six years later in 1997 when Farbrother moved from Kent to West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom.

The man who has tattoos and piercings covering his face, was eventually arrested in 2018 when the victim came forward.

Farbrother denied any wrongdoing but was unanimously found guilty by a court of law of 13 charges, including seven counts of rape and multiple indecent assaults.

As well as his jail sentence, the paedo will be added to the sex offenders register, for life.

Detective Sergeant Adam Ferguson said: “Farbrother targeted the victim over a period of many years.

“He subjected them to the most appalling and terrifying campaign of abuse, using violence and threats which included restraining them with handcuffs and holding a knife to their throat.

“I would like to thank the victim, who has been incredibly brave to come forward and give evidence.

“The abuse has had a catastrophic effect on much of their adult life, but I do hope they can now move forward from this knowing Farbrother will be serving a lengthy prison sentence.

“Successful convictions such as this are just one of the reasons we continue to urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual abuse to contact the police.

“It is never too late to report a sexual offence. You will be believed.”
