Here are the areas that will be affected by daily power blackout today

Four counties, including Nairobi, will today be affected by power blackout. According to the Kenya Power Company, parts of Kiambu, West Pokot and Siaya County will be similarly affected.

In Nairobi, Donholm and Savanna estates are among the areas that will experience power interruptions.

Lang’ata Sub-County will also be affected by the power interruptions, the specific areas being Lang’ata South Road, Tangaza College, St John’s Catholic Church, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), parts of Bogani Road, Kwarara Road, Lang’ata Botanical Gardens, Catholic University and the adjacent areas.

In Kiambu County, the affected areas include Kamakis area, Gwa Kairu, Thome, Gatongora Primary School, Sunrise, part of Bypass, part of Kihunguro, Miti Kenda, Karuguru and the whole of Mashinani.

Other areas include Kiratina, By Pass Corner, Green Valley, Silicon Valley, Parts of Varsity Ville, Naivas, Quickmart, Rubis Petrol Station, Shell Petrol Station By Pass, Delta Petrol Station, Mutonya Dispensary, Kwa Chinese, Sewage, Kwihota, Gituamba Water Project and adjacent areas.

In West Pokot County, Karas, Kapkoris, Kamatira, Chepareria, Chepkopegh, Chiromo and adjacent areas will be affected while in Siaya County, Aluor Girls Secondary School, Siala Kaduol, Komuok Village, Dienya, Apuoyo, Baghdad Market, Dhene Secondary School, Ogero Market, Rera Kenya Medical and Training College (KMTC), Mabinju, Ndiru are some of the areas that will be affected.
