A man in Mwingi West, Kitui County is crying for justice after his 18-year-old son was hacked to death at Nguutani area on December 21, 2022.

Brian Musyoka, was attacked while on his father’s farm exactly two months after his mother had also been hacked to death.

His body was laid to rest on Wednesday at his Nguutani home where his father, who has been receiving treatment for the last two years in a Nairobi hospital attended the burial ceremony in a wheelchair accompanied by his doctors.

From his bed, as the burial was ongoing, Brian’s father, Patrick Ndana, who occasionally shed tears in the middle of the interview, said his heart had been torn apart.

“Why are they finishing my family? My only son was only 18 years who was butchered two months after his mother!” He said.

Man’s family attacked

Ndana said the world had come crumbling down for him stating he has suffered a big blow of being sick for over two years and now two of his family members have been killed in cold blood.

He also hinted that one of his three daughters was also knocked down by a motorbike on her way home and is currently admitted at Mwingi Level 4 Hospital.

“My home has not known peace from October 1 since my wife was killed,” he said.

Ndana said that the wrangles are orchestrated by land wrangles.
