Huddah Monroe is in the eye of the storm this week after netizens accused her of faking her lifestyle using other people’s photos on her Instagram page.
This has seen her come out hard in retaliation, with the petite and pretty socialite refuting the allegations and maintaining her innocence.
Whatever the case, we at Mpasho are just mere messengers and will not cast our vote on who is saying the truth between Huddah and her accusers.
But what we will do is go back into our archives to look into all the times the light-skinned lady has been accused of doing something fake. Let’s begin;
1. She has ever been accused of having a fake designer bag.
A couple of years ago, she posted a photo displaying herself without makeup to show her rich skin.
“Wifey! No makeup gloss, coming up,” she captioned. Also visible was a Gucci handbag.
“The way Kenyan be posing fake designer bags is as if they are getting paid by the designer,” a netizen noticed about the bag.
Huddah bashed her writing back,
“@Aisha_bushoke. LMFAO! Hey broke b**ch; you wish it were fake if you broke doesn’t mean everyone is broke! Take a chill pill and pray to God to give you money, so you don’t be a hater all your life.”
2. She has been accused of faking appearing on the cover of a major International magazine in 2019, where she supposedly photoshopped herself to the cover of Harpers Bazaar magazine.
The socialite posted a picture on Friday claiming that she had been covered by the magazine but she actually just modeled for a few designer items in a published article.
“I’m a big believer that change is good. To me, LA is like the world’s greatest party, known for its Mediterranean climate, ethnic diversity, Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and it is the “misunderstood city”. If you’re lucky enough to travel anywhere, this is a place you have to go & make the most of it. Have fun, take advantage of the opportunities, and meet as many people as you can. . Thank you Harpers Bazaar US Magazine for helping me share this experience on the SEPTEMBER ISSUE. I never one day imagined I’d be in one of the Worlds biggest fashion magazine …..”
3. She has faked being pregnant
Early in March 2023, Huddah returned to Kenya for club-hosting events.
Her first-ever gig was at Club Gemini. While partying hard, she shared a video dancing and showing her outfit for the day.
She appeared to have a tummy, unlike the Huddah we know who always has a flat belly.
She said that she was three months pregnant.
After trending online, she returned to deny being expectant.
4. Her latest drama is borrowing another girl’s Instagram picture to show she was on a flight to Paris.
She has since returned online to react to the copying photo claims.
On her popular Instagram page, Huddah wrote that “Naiba kila kitu hii mwaka,” laughing about it.
She also added to an inquiry from a fan that “I was eating caviar on first class last week why would I steal a menu image, b***is delusional.”
On March 26, an individual shared that Huddah posted another person’s picture pretending o be flying to Paris.
Was she caught faking a flight abroad? Huddah shared a video of the menu on her flight.
In another caption, the Rich Beauty entrepreneur cautioned that she will take some drastic action
“I think this is why b**** wanted fame. She thought she will get famous in Kenya then someone will fly her there.”
She finished by writing,
“Sahi flight attendants will see fire. I’ll be asking them for photos and snaps like it’s my first time flying. Just to prove a point…coz I miss being petty,” she warned.
