Liverpool attacker, Diogo Jota has claimed that he always looked up to Al-Nassr captain for inspiration.
According to Jota, Ronaldo stayed at his peak even after turning 30.
Ronaldo scored over 200 goals for club and country after entering his 30s.
“You have a lot of energy when you are young but you still make a lot of mistakes and you always learn with experience,”
Jota said as quoted by Mirror.
“I always look up to [Cristiano] Ronaldo, for example, and I think he has scored more goals since he has been over 30 than before he was 30, so that shows as well it is doable.
“It also means if you are 26 you can be away from your prime and that’s what I expect – and that is what I work for as well every day.”
