Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that Lionel Messi is his favourite footballer to watch.

In an interview with Sky, the Spaniard also admitted his three sons are obsessed with Messi.

On his favourite footballer to watch, Arteta said: “It’s always been Messi, I cannot deny it.

“For me and my three sons, it’s exactly the same.

“Something we’ve been really lucky to have is the opportunity for that many years to experience the best player of all time.”

Messi is widely regarded as one of the best footballers in history.

The Inter Miami superstar has won every available trophy for club and country. He also has the most Ballon d’Or awards (8) ever.
