Nigeria achieved this milestone by defeating Canada 79-70, while the USA secured their spot by beating Germany 87-68, led by Jackie Young with 19 points and A’ja Wilson with 14 points.
In other quarter-final matchups, host nation France, the bronze medalists from the Tokyo Games three years ago, will take on Germany, while Spain will face Belgium.
