Kenya Police had a triumphant outing in the FKF Cup final, securing their first major trophy since being promoted and earning a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup for the next season. The final, held at Ulinzi Sports Complex, ended in a goalless draw, leading to a thrilling penalty shootout which Kenya Police won 8-7 against KCB FC.

Patrick Matasi, the goalkeeper for Kenya Police, was pivotal throughout the tournament, keeping four clean sheets and playing heroically in the final. He not only saved penalties during the shootout but also scored the winning penalty himself, which earned him a humanitarian cheque worth Ksh100,000. As a result of his outstanding performance, Matasi was awarded both the Golden Glove award for best goalkeeper and the Man of the Match in the final.
