Inter Miami head coach, Tata Martino, has said Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets might not start the Leagues Cup match against Cruz Azul on Friday, but noted they will likely get minutes.

Messi and Busquets on Tuesday, completed their first training session with the MLS side.

Fans have paid between $275 and $19,000 for tickets to the game.

“From what I have seen up to now, they are going to be fit to play, and it is likely that on Friday they can be there,” Martino told ESPN Fútbol 12.

“Whether that will be as starters or coming in at halftime, we will have to make that decision yet, but as I see it, Leo as well as Busi can play [on Friday].”

Inter Miami have not won an MLS game in over two months, so making the playoffs is a long shot.
