Detectives in Embakasi are investigating a murder reported in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi, on Tuesday.

This comes after an unidentified male died from injuries sustained during a suspected stabbing.

According to a report from the Villa Police Station, nurses at Mukuru Kwa Njenga Level 4 Hospital received the victim around 1:00 a.m.

Good Samaritans brought the man in, claiming to have found him bleeding profusely at Mukuru Kwa Njenga Primary School Field.

Medical personnel examined the victim and discovered a stab wound on the left side of his body, just above the clavicle.

Despite efforts to save his life, the man succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

Officers from the Villa and Embakasi police stations responded to the incident, visiting the hospital where the body was found.

A thorough examination confirmed the presence of a single stab wound.

The scene at Mukuru Kwa Njenga Primary School Field was processed by a Scenes of Crime (SOC) team, and the victim’s body was later transported to the City Mortuary for identification and an autopsy.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Embakasi has taken over the case, which remains under investigation.
