Investigations as 42-year-old man allegedly dies by suicide in Siaya

Police in Siaya County are investigating the death of a 42-year-old man who allegedly died by suicide.

Francis Oluoch’s body was found in his house at Uranga Border ‘A’ village in East Gem location in Gem Yala.

Area Assistant Chief Vitalis Otunga said the deceased is suspected to have taken his life following a domestic dispute with his estranged wife.

“Oluoch is said to have had domestic issues with his wife who left their home a few days ago,” he told Citizen Digital.

Officers from Bar-Kalare police post visited the scene as investigations kicked off.

The body was taken to a nearby mortuary awaiting postmortem.
