Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced that Terminal 1E at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, October 10, at 7 a.m. The terminal, which handles international arrivals, will be closed to allow for essential rehabilitation works.

During this period, all airlines affected by the closure will operate from Terminal 1A. The KAA emphasized that this decision is aimed at ensuring the safety of both staff and passengers while the renovation is ongoing.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time,” the notice from the KAA’s corporate communication stated.
