The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) will hold a public auction on June 21, 2024, at their premises located at Eagle Africa Centre, Longonot Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi.

According to a notice in Tuesday’s My Gov issue, the Authority plans to sell items such as laptops, cameras, phones, and tires, among other things. The full list of items for sale can be downloaded from the EPRA website.

EPRA announced that viewing of the items will be available from Wednesday, June 12 to Wednesday, June 19 during normal working hours. This viewing period allows potential buyers to verify item details since the sale is conducted on an “as-is-where-is” basis, meaning items are sold in their current condition without warranties from the auctioneers or their principals.

Interested bidders are required to pay a refundable deposit of Sh1,000 for each category to obtain a bidding number. EPRA specified that payments for purchased goods must be made by close of business on the auction day via bank deposit to an account provided by EPRA on the auction day.

Additionally, any uncollected items and deposits will be forfeited if not collected by close of business on Monday, June 24, 2024. The Authority also noted that the sale is subject to reasonable reserve prices.
