Just for love! Eric Omondi set to walk from Nairobi to Mombasa ahead of Valentine’s Day

Comedian Eric Omondi plans to walk from Nairobi to Mombasa, arriving in the coastal city on Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2026.

Dubbed the walk of love, Omondi will take the daring journey on foot to raise funds for the construction of a help and rescue centre.

The journey will see the comedian cum philanthropist cover a distance of 486 kilometres over four days while enduring harsh weather.

He will start at Nyayo National Stadium on February 10, 2026 and end at Mama Ngina Waterfront Park on February 14, 2026.

“On February 10, 2026, I will be walking from Nairobi’s Nyayo Stadium to Mama Ngina (Waterfront Park). I will be covering a distance of 486 kilometres. And remember this is a walk of love because we are doing this during Valentine’s,” Omondi explained in a video posted on his social media platforms on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Omondi’s plans for Sisi Kw Sisi Help and Rescue Centre

The philanthropist explained that proceeds of the initiative will build the Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre.

The facility will host a warehouse, two ambulances, a clinic and a free school upon completion, and will be a cornerstone of the comedian’s legacy of philanthropy that has impacted many lives over the years.

“I am walking to raise Funds to build The SISI KWA SISI HELP AND RESCUE CENTRE. The Rescue Centre will house. 1. A WAREHOUSE 2. TWO AMBULANCES 3. A CLINIC 4. A FREE SECONDARY SCHOOL.

“You can walk with me by sending whatever you can,” Omondi appealed while providing information through which contributions may be sent.

Detailing his vision, Omondi shared that the centre donations will be stored at the warehouse, revealing that he has received many requests from people who want to donate items towards the course.

The Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre will be a place where Kenyans will find help. So far we have handled 208 cases in two years, and there are more cases pending, with more Kenyans needing help or rescuing,” Omondi added.
