Kakamega: Decomposing body of a woman found dumped

Police officers are investigating an incident where the decomposing body of a 42-year-old woman was found in a rental house in Kakamega.

According to police officers who visited the scene, the incident happened in Musanda village, located in Lurambi Constituency.

According to neighbors, the victim, identified only as ‘Everylne’, had moved into the house two months ago.

They added that they were informed of the tragedy through a message allegedly sent by her suspected killer.

Locals added that the suspect is said to have confessed to committing the crime.

The incident has shocked residents in the area, who have called for a thorough investigation and for the suspect to face severe legal action.

The body has been taken to Kakamega County Referral Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
