Police officers in Kakamega have arrested a 34-year-old man who reportedly went on a stabbing spree, injuring several people, including the in-charge of Nyumba Kumi in the Shikambi area of Shieywe, Kakamega.

Reuben Otiende, one of the victims of the vicious stabbings, told police that he had gone to mediate a dispute between the suspect, John Nyikuli, and his father, Pascal Lumumba, when he was stabbed in the head with a knife.

The suspect’s father, Mr Lumumba, asked the police to ensure the suspect does not return home, as he has become a threat to his family and neighbors alike.
