Kameme FM presenters Muthoni wa Kirumba, popularly known as Baby Top, and Paul Gatonye Mbugua have been recognised as peace ambassadors by the Seer Africa Organisation, months after Baby Top won the Female Radio Presenter of the Year award at the 2025 Starbrands Awards.
The certificates recognising the two broadcasters were shared by Kameme FM on Facebook on Friday, October 9, 2026, highlighting their work as Kenyan radio presenters and inviting them to take up peace ambassador roles in Kenya and across Africa.
In a certificate bearing the title Certificate of Recognition Servant Leadership, the Seer Africa Organisation recognised Baby Top as a Kenyan presenter and host at Mediamax, the media company under which Kameme FM operates.
The certificate, numbered 0209 and dated October 1, 2026, praised the broadcaster and invited her to serve as a goodwill peace ambassador.
“We recognise you as a Kenyan Presenter | Host in Mediamax. We salute you, and we cherish you. May God bless you in all your days,” the certificate reads.
It further invited her to accept the role of goodwill peace ambassador in Kenya and Africa, in keeping with the organisation’s stated mission of promoting peace, love and unity across the continent.
“Please accept to be our Goodwill PEACE AMBASSADOR in Kenya and Africa in general,” the certificate adds.
The document was issued under the common seal of the Seer Africa Organisation and signed by its Chief Executive Officer, S. K. Mutiga.
Gatonye also receives recognition
Gatonye, whose full name is Paul Gatonye Mbugua, was similarly recognised by the organisation in a certificate numbered 0207.
Like Baby Top’s certificate, the document acknowledged his work as a Kenyan presenter and host at Mediamax, praising his service and inviting him to take up a peace ambassador role.
“We recognise you as a Kenyan Presenter and Host in Mediamax. We salute you and we cherish you. May God bless you all your days,” the certificate reads.
The organisation then invited the broadcaster to represent its peace advocacy efforts in Kenya and across Africa.
“Please accept to be our Grand in Kenya and in Africa PEACE AMBASSADOR,” the certificate states.
The wording on Gatonye’s certificate appears to contain a typographical or transcription error in the phrase “our Grand”; the intended designation should be confirmed from the original document before publication.
The certificate was issued under the common seal of the Seer Africa Organisation and signed by Mutiga, identified as the organisation’s chief executive officer.
Baby Top’s earlier award recognition
The latest recognition follows Baby Top’s success at the 2025 Starbrands Awards, where she was named Female Radio Presenter of the Year.
After receiving the award, the broadcaster credited her listeners for their support, describing the achievement as a shared milestone.
“Congratulations to my beloved listeners 💕 for being Awarded The Best Radio Presenter Of The year 2025! May this well-deserved recognition be the beginning of even greater accomplishment in our career journey together. This win Is For You! We keep shining and raising the bar in the industry!🔥🔥🙏🏼,” she wrote.
