Gospel singer Karangu Muraya has shared a prayerful message after visiting his ailing elder brother, Paul Muraya.
In a statement on his official Facebook account on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the singer wished his ailing brother well in a message filled with faith, hope and gratitude.
Grounded in his Christian faith, the renowned singer expressed hope that Paul will be healed.
“God is with you, my brother Paul Muraya…you’re winning this in Jesus’ Mighty Name,” the philanthropist stated.
He also praised a local hospital for taking good care of his brother, who has battled sickness for a prolonged period.
He expressed hope that his family will soon celebrate Paul’s healing in worship, as he has seen in many other people.
“Dear Lord, I have seen you healing many, please do it in our family, and we will live to worship your holy Name …” Muraya added.
Karangu Muraya silences critics
Muraya has been open about his brother’s battle with sickness and has, in the past, addressed allegations of neglecting his family.
In March 2025, the philanthropist issued a statement dismissing reports that he had abandoned his sick brother.
He clarified that his brother became unwell when he was out of the country, and he promptly sent his support and wished him well.
“Sometimes I lack words. I travelled to India last Wednesday. On Monday, I received a call that my brother was unwell and had been admitted. I sent him my support and wished him well. I have been receiving insults even in my inbox, claiming I don’t care about my siblings. What else could I have done?” Muraya stated.
Paul Muraya’s battle with sickness
Paul was admitted to the intensive care unit of a local hospital last year and came out after his health improved, with the gospel singer sharing the update on his official social media platforms.
Muraya expressed confidence at the time that his elder brother will recover after exiting the ICU.
“My elder brother Paul Muraya, I thank God for you. Thank you, Lord, for bringing him out of that ICU room… I am confident that soon he will be out of this ward… JEHOVAH RAPHA, I TRUST IN YOU…pona haraka bro,” Muraya stated.
