KCPE 2023:Uasin Gishu student Who Scored 414 Marks Impresses with Her Flawless Kiswahili

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu earlier released the 2023 KCPE results, and interested Kenyans can get them via SMS

Among the top performers is a Kalenjin girl, Kipsaitas Jepkorir, from Greenvale Primary School in Uasin Gishu whose. family and friends rejoiced in her performance.

They carried her shoulders high, and when she introduced herself, her impeccable articulation of the Kiswahili language left Kenyans in awe.

A top scorer in the 2023 KCPE results has left Kenyans wowed with her perfect articulation of the Kiswahili language.

The 2023 KCPE results were released by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu at Mitihani House on Thursday, November 23.

While announcing the results, Machogu announced that the top candidate scored 428 marks out of a possible 500. Uasin Gishu student impresses Kenyans One of the top performers from Uasin Gishu county, Kipsaitas Jepkorir, caught the eye of Kenyans.

Her family and friends joyously showered her with praise, as some carried her shoulders high.

She said: “Naitwa Kipsaitas Jepkorir na Mungu ameniwezehsa kuzoa alama 414 na si kwa uwezo wangu ni yeye tu. Namshukuru Mungu, wazazi wangu. Walimu kuwa wamekuwa wakiniwezesha, wakinipiga jeki kwa kila kitu ambacho nimefanya na sichukulii hivi hivi. Mimi ningependa kuwa mpasuaji wa akili. Napenda sayansi na hisabati, Napenda sana.”

How did 2023 KCPE candidates perform?

The candidates who scored 400- 500 marks were 8, 523 candidates. The CS termed this as a slight drop as compared to the 2022 KCPE exams.

Those who scored between 300 to 399 were 352, 782 learners. A total of 658,278 candidates scored between 200 and 299 marks.

Being the last KCPE exam, no candidate will have the chance to repeat Class Eight next year. Form One placement process is now set to commence on Monday, November 27, with the exercise expected to be completed before Christmas. “All parents should take advantage of the government’s 100% transition to enrol their children in Form One,” the CS said.
