Kenyan content creator Stacy Roimen, a Los Angeles resident, recently had the (very) rare opportunity to meet singer and entrepreneur Rihanna while taking a casual stroll in the supermarket.
Roimen, who is no stranger to meeting popular US celebrities, was kicking it up in a Los Angeles mall when she bumped into the ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker.
An excited Roimen quickly jumped to Instagram to share the photos and narrate the experience, which, from her tone, was clearly mind-blowing.
The twosome posed for selfies and Rihanna was gracious enough to chit-chat Roimen as they both smiled for the camera and exchanged idle talk.
Donning oversized sunglasses, the Bajan beauty laughed easily as she engaged Roimen who, evidently, wouldn’t stop fangirling.
“I had such a genuine long conversation with her; I almost forgot to take a photo. I can’t wait to interview you @badgalriri one of these days. Our convo & your kindness lives rent free in my mind FOREVER EVER, thank you for being so down to earth ily,” Roimen posted.
According to the Daily Mail, Rihanna went grocery shopping at an L.A.-area Bristol Farms supermarket and that’s where it is believed the two bumped into each other.
Stacy, whose nickname is ‘Maasai Girl’ is no stranger to bumping into notable stars.
In January, she meet and had a lengthy chat with popular actor Joseph Sikora who played the character Tommy in the Drama series ‘Power’.
She has also met dancehall sensation Shensea too.
Stacey Roimen is a former journalist at NRG Radio and went to the US to further pursue her education in journalism.
Friends, former journos and colleagues wished her well with Shaq the Younging even mentioning that she had once manifested this.
