Content creator and self-described forex trader Raymond Omosa, better known online as Kenyan Prince, has responded after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) chimed in on a viral video of him flaunting large amounts of cash online.
In a YouTube video on Monday, February 23, 2026 Kenyan Prince appeared unbothered as he addressed rumours that the taxman was after him, noting that if KRA hasn’t started looking for you, then you haven’t truly begun the hustle.
He advised his followers to work hard until the tax authorities come calling. In a show of opulence, he followed up with a lavish shopping spree worth thousands of shillings.
“Alafu naskia wanasema KRA wananitafuta kama haujatatafutwa na KRA haujaanza hustle make sure KRA wamekuta“, he said.
Viral video sparks exchange
This comes just days after KRA’s lighthearted reaction to his earlier cash flaunting. The exchange began when Kenyan Prince shared a video displaying bundles of cash, which quickly caught the attention of both the tax authority and social media users.
The clip went viral within hours, sparking playful reactions online. KRA joined in the banter, commenting: “Hi Kenyan Prince, uliomba ukiface wapi aki, ni mbaya?” loosely questioning where he was facing during his prayers.
Kenyan Prince, in a past interview, detailed that the current lavish lifestyle is a stark contrast to the life he lived not long ago.
The controversial forex trader explained that he grew up in a humble family under the care of his maternal grandmother.
“My mother gave birth to us tukiwa wawili (two of us), and she was in high school then,” Prince stated.

According to Prince, his mother got pregnant while in form two and gave birth before leaving them in the care of his grandmother.
Losing mum at an early age
He revealed that he lost his mother in his childhood years when he was around four years old, and has never met his father.
The forex trader explained that he was sent home for school fees and stayed home for a whole academic term, but was allowed to continue with his education for free by the owner of the school since he was a bright student.
On flaunting his lavish lifestyle online, the content creator said that he does so to motivate other people in challenging financial situations, similar to when he went through earlier in life.
“I expose my life because I want to be a motivation to someone out there, mwenye anataka kuona journey ya kijana mdogo mwenye amejituma, and is heading somewhere in life.
