Kiambu County Public Service Board has announced 1,220 job vacancies in the Department of Health Services and 44 positions in the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
The county government put up the advertisement on October 11.
The advert invited all applications from qualified persons who wish to be considered for the positions.
In the Department of Health Services, 60 positions are for medical specialists, 4 dental specialists, 4 pharmaceutical specialists, 53 clinical officers, 45 nurses,1032 general cadres and 22 funeral parlour workers.
Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has 44 vacancies from different designations. 30 of the vacancies are for assistant animal health officers.
Successful candidates will be eligible for comprehensive medical cover, mortgage and car loan scheme upon confirmation of terms and in line with the existing policies.
The Board encouraged persons with disabilities and those from marginalised and minority groups to apply.
It further warned against canvassing in any form as this would lead to an automatic disqualification.
