Kiambu, Nyeri counties to face power outages today

Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions today (Monday, May 20) in Kiambu and Nyeri counties to facilitate network maintenance.

In Kiambu, power disruptions will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Affected areas include Kamburu, Mitimbei, Kagaa, Kagwe Shops, Gatamaiyu, Gachoire, Nyanduma, Kamuchege, Pascha Dairies, Nyamuthanga, Gitwe Girls, Kamba Factory, Matukuta, Mungu, and adjacent customers.

In Nyeri, power interruptions are scheduled between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Affected areas comprise Giakaibei Market, Giakaibei Secondary School, Ndumanu Village, Kanjuri High School, Kanjuri Market, Giagathege TBC, Kianganga Village, Kiunjugi TBC, Kariambi TBC, Gitima-Ini Market, Gitima-Ini Booster, Kiangengi Market, Gatei TBC, Ragati Tea Factory, Kagochi Market, KianjiruIni TBC, Ragati Forest Station, and adjacent customers.

These interruptions are necessary to ensure network maintenance and improve service delivery.
