Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kithure Kindiki has reshuffled county commissioners and their deputies to enhance service delivery.

In a notice on Tuesday, March 7, the CS announced the changes that affect 59 county and sub-county bosses across the country.

“To enhance service delivery within the National Administration, changes have been made among County Commissioners in all the 47 Counties of the Republic of Kenya with effect from 7th March, 2023,” he said in the notice.

County commissioners Herman Shambi (Nandi), Mathias Rioba (Trans Nzoia), Michael Ivuto (Kirinyaga), and Stephen Kihara (Embu) have been recalled to the ministry headquarters for redeployment.

Some 15 county bosses have been retained in their current stations.

Transferred County Commissioners

Some 20 County Commissioners have been transferred to different locations across the country.
