During the World Aquatics Day celebrations and games extravaganza at Kisumu City’s Jamhuri Victoria Park, Kisumu County emerged victorious in the water polo event, with Uasin Gishu County finishing as runners-up. The lakeside city attracted a large gathering of aquatics enthusiasts over the weekend.

Ethan Patrick from Kisumu-based Sash Aquatics Swim Club clinched first place in the boys’ 100m individual medley for the 7-year-old category. In the same age group for girls, Tenisha Belle of Swiftkids Swim Club took the top spot in the 100m individual medley.

Other winners in the 100m individual medley included Kadede Nathan from Swimfit Classic Club, Tamara Joy from Swiftkids Swim Club, and Jamal Verano from Sash Aquatics Club in the 8-year-old categories. Camelle Kyler secured victory in the 10-year-old category for the individual medley event.
