KPLC plans blackouts in nine counties. Wednesday

Kenya Power has listed areas across nine counties where power interruptions are scheduled on Wednesday to facilitate system maintenance.
The utility company said the planned power interruptions will take effect at diverse times between 9am and 5pm.
Counties to be affected are Nairobi, Makueni, Bomet, Muranga, Kiambu, Kisumu, Nyamira, Mombasa and Kilifi

Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi set to experience power interruption is Ngong Road (Rd). Specific areas are Part of Ngong Rd, China Centre, Coptic Hosp, Baptist Church, Kindaruma Road, Royal Golf Club, Muchai Drive, Rose Avenue, George Padmore Road, Parts of Argwings Kodhek Rd & adjacent customers
Other areas in Nairobi county include parts of Jogoo road, Buruburu Phase 5, Magunas Supermarket, Uhuru Market (Mkt), Makadara Law Court & adjacent customers. parts of Dandora Part of Lucky Summer, Tiba Pri Sch, Ngunyumu Pri, Ngomongo, DandoraPhase 2, 3 and 4, Dump Site, Co-op Bank, Uprising & adjacent customers.

Makueni
Affected areas include Huduma Centre, Malivani Prisons, Unoa Mkts, Mumbuni, Kitikyumu, Sender Mkt, Kyemole, Malivani, Kwa Kathoka, Nyunzu Mkt, Ngunu, Kathonzweni Mkt and adjacent customers.

Bomet
Areas in Bomet county earmarked for the outage include Meja, Kings Outreach, Bomet Police Station, Siloam Hospital, Kapkwen Market, Kiriba, Makimeny, Saunet, Kibereisit, Kipkuror, Mathew Maritim, Tarakwa, Sahara, Sachangwan, Kipsiwon, Kapsio, Kagawet, Solyot, Chororoita, Muiywek, Leldaet and adjacent customers.
Murang’a
Ithanga Junction, Ngelelya Mkt, Muti Mkt Matunda Dispensary, Kinyangi Village, Nginye Dam, Bishop Gitonga Spur, Milaani Mkt and adjacent customers will be affected.

Kiambu
Parts of Makongeni, Makongeni Rubis, Munyu Center, Fara Inya, Komo, Maraba Mkt, Kwa Simon, St. Paul Sec, Kwa Simon, Cichigi Village Spur, Maganjo S/Centre, Ngiriki S/Centre, AIC Church Munyu, Kimuchu Village, Maraba Mkt, Kimuchu AP Camp, Nyasaba Mkt, Vasity Academy, BufalloEst and adjacent customers will also experience power cuts between 9am and 5pm..

Kisumu
Agakhan Hosp, Okore, Usaid, Kiwasco Tom Mboya, Robert Ouko Est, Golden Elites, Tom Mboya, Kibuye, Ondieki, Polyview, Russia Hosp, Avenue Hosp, Star Hosp, Lumumba Hosp and adjacent customers will also experience power cuts between 9am and 5pm..

Nyamira
Areas around Matunwa T/Fact, Enchoro Royal Media, Gesima, Mosobeti, Motagara, Nyataro, Omwoyo and adjacent customers will be affected between 9am and 5pm.

Mombasa
Bonje Shell, Kilimanjaro Biscuits, Mazeras Water, Alpha Logistics & adjacent customers will also experience power cuts between 9am and 5pm.

Kilifi
Sea Horse, Back Parkers, Part of Pwani University and adjacent customers will be affected between 9am to 5pm.
Other parts to experience power interruption over the same period include Mtwapa, Kanamai, Kikambalkwa, Mwalimu Omar, Aljazeera Estate, Milly Fruits, Milly Sweets l, Brilliant EPZ, Coast Apparel, Mombasa Apparel, Coastal Bottlers, Ashut Plastics.

Areas around Pwani Oil, Majengo Mapya, Mvita Oils, Bokoboko, Sumak Engineering, Khosla Farm, North Coast College, Bomani Dispensary, Jungu Sec, Mwembe Tsungu and adjacent customers will also be affected.
Others are Khosla Farm, North Coast College, Bomani Dispensary, Jungu Sec, Mwembe Tsungu and adjacent customers.
