The National Assembly Committee on Finance and National Planning has rescheduled its meeting with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Commissioner General Humphrey Wattanga that was scheduled for Monday.

This is after Wattanga failed to turn up for the session where he was expected to shed light on KRA’s revenue collection performance for the first quarter of the 2023/24 financial year.

The committee chairperson who is also the member of parliament for Molo, Kuria Kimani said the commissioner general wrote to him and asked for the meeting to be rescheduled because he is away in China.
