Brian Chira’s tragic death, confirmed by police authorities, resulted from severe head injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident.
Prior to the accident, reports indicated that Chira had visited a bar in the Gacharae area, where he was subsequently ejected following a disturbance.
While on his way home by motorcycle, Chira was struck by a speeding lorry while crossing the road near his destination. The driver of the lorry fled the scene following the collision, leaving Chira fatally injured.
Authorities plan to conduct an autopsy on the body as part of the accident investigation, followed by further steps in the case.
Additionally, they will visit locations that Chira frequented prior to the incident.
Police are also probing allegations suggesting Chira may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident in the Gacharage area.
