The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has announced that normal services on their park entry payment system have resumed following a brief downtime on Sunday morning. In a notice, KWS stated that the technical issue affecting payments across all parks and reserves had been resolved.

They expressed their satisfaction with the restoration of the payment system, which is now fully operational.

Earlier, KWS had apologized for the inconvenience caused at the entry points and mentioned that they were working with the eCitizen team to address the problem. KWS manages 34 parks and reserves throughout Kenya, and the cashless payment system, introduced in August last year, is part of the government’s broader initiative to digitize all its services.

“All park entry payments shall be made through the eCitizen government platform. Note that other forms of payments shall not be accepted at the KWS Parks, Reserves, and Sanctuaries,” KWS said in a statement.

As a visitor, you can easily pay for Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) park entry services using your mobile phone by following these steps:

1. Download the e-Citizen Mobile App:
– Visit the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
– Search for and download the “e-Citizen” mobile app.
