Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has addressed rumours of a rift between him and the squad following their Champions League exit.

According to Relevo, Los Blancos dressing room is growing increasingly distrustful of Ancelotti.

It also claimed that some players have approached club president Florentino Perez to complain about the Italian’s tactics following their 2-1 Champions League quarter-final defeat to Arsenal.

However, Ancelotti speaking to the media on Saturday, insisted that anyone who talks about a rift “isn’t telling the truth”.

He said: “I’ve spoken with the players and the club. We’re on the same page. We’re hurt.

“These are things that can happen in football; you can’t always win.

“We have the same idea. We haven’t had a clash with the club because we’re always in the same boat.

“Anyone who talks about a clash with the president isn’t telling the truth.”

Ancelotti’s men are still in with a chance of retaining their LaLiga crown and winning the Copa del Rey but if they fail to triumph in either, the 65-year-old is likely to leave the club this summer.
