OGC Nice striker, Terem Moffi, is expected to return to full training this week, DAILY POST reports.

Moffi was not included in Nice’s squad for their Ligue 1 clash with Le Havre over the weekend prompting speculations that he has suffered a hamstring injury that could keep him out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to SCORENigeria, the forward is only nursing a minor injury and it was only a precaution for him not to feature at the weekend.

“Terem not playing at the weekend was only precautionary,” a top source close to the striker informed SCORENigeria.

“He only has a minor injury and he will resume training this week.”

The 24-year-old has scored four goals in 15 league appearances for Nice this season.

The striker is expected to be included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 AFCON.
