Content creator M Alby has spoken out following claims from former friend Sumeeya, who accused him of trying to ruin her reputation and professional opportunities in Kenya.
In a TikTok video on Monday, January 5, 2026, Sumeeya described their fallout, saying she ended the friendship because she found his behaviour toxic.
She claimed M Alby went as far as trying to manipulate brands to spread false information about her after she returned to Kenya.
“He was begging brands to lie about me so I wouldn’t succeed in Kenya,” she said.
“He hated that I was doing better, and just because I ended our friendship, he wanted to ruin my name.”
Sumeeya also mentioned a past gift from M Alby, claiming he had used it to harass her after she returned to Kenya.

She said the situation left her shocked and stressed, and accused M Alby of trying to prevent her from working with brands in Kenya.
Malby responds
In response on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, on TikTok, M Alby denied the claims, saying the screenshots circulating online are fake and misleading.
“There’s a girl posting fake screenshots about me, saying I asked or bought a brand. I don’t even know how to do content with her,” he said.

He also clarified that he has never worked with any of the brands or any of the businesses Sumeeya mentioned.
“All the equipment I use is mine. I edit everything myself. I’ve never involved brands in this way,” M Alby added.
M Alby addressed the stress of the drama but said it won’t affect his focus.
M Alby also revealed that the accusations have caused a flood of messages from people, many of them hateful.
“I’m not falling into depression this year. Anyone who wants to bring my name down, come my way. But I’m not going down,” he said.
He further stated that he plans to pursue legal action over the claims and screenshots being circulated, signalling that he takes the matter seriously.
He encouraged viewers to review his content history for evidence, pointing out that none of his past videos or posts contain attacks against Sumeeya.
