Local administrators in the Kitheuni area of Yatta, Machakos County are organising counselling services for a man who dug a grave inside his house ahead of his purported imminent death.

Twenty-four-year-old Kamende Ngwili dug his grave and has reportedly been informing people to attend his burial on January 1, 2025.

Locals suspect the man was planning suicide.
The village elder on Sunday morning informed the area assistant chief of the matter, who visited the scene and advised the man against such plans.

They also informed local police to help organise counselling services for the man.
