Police in Mbooni East, Makueni County are holding a 32-year-old woman accused of killing her 82-year-old husband.

According to Albanus Mutula, the assistant chief of the area, the couple had a disagreement over Ksh.3,000 with the deceased accusing his young wife of stealing the money.

Syombua Musau allegedly stoned her husband on the back, killing him instantly.

The woman is being held at the Mbumbuni Police Station awaiting arraignment.

The elderly man’s body was taken to Tawa morgue.

The administrator urged residents to find amicable ways of solving their differences without taking regressive actions.
