Paul Murage Njuki, a man who killed his wife and four children in November 28, 2021, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Njuki surrendered himself to the Kirinyaga police station, where he was locked up before he was arraigned at Gichugu law court.

Kerugoya High Court in Kirinyaga County sentenced Njuki on Wednesday after he was found guilty of killing his family.

Millicent Muthoni and her four children aged between one and 13 years were killed in cold blood at Kathata village, Gichugu constituency.

Justice Richard Mwongo of Kerugoya High court said the court had considered all the evidence tabled before it which showed that Murage murdered his family.

He was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison with a right of appeal given to him within 14 days.
