A man was on Saturday been killed on the spot while crossing the busy Thika Road near Garden City.
Running across the road from Homeland restaurant to the Garden City Mall under the footbridge, the unidentified man was hit by a speeding car.
Another car ran over him, and it took the efforts of passersby to pull him from under the vehicle.
A passerby said the man decided to hop through the 8-lane highway to the other end, instead of using the footbridge nearby.
The incident caused a massive traffic snarl up on the busy highway, as police officers were yet to arrive at the scene to remove the body.
