Luanda Police Commander David Ndirangu confirmed that the suspect was presented in court on Monday where investigators ssought more time to detain him.

The suspect is alleged to have killed the woman after suspecting that she was cheating in him with another man.

“The two were seen Saturday evening together at Ebusiralo before the young man stabbed the lady to death,” Ebusiralo assistant chief Ali Omutsani said.

“I visited the scene after members of the public notified me of the incident and found the lady lying helplessly along the road dead!” the area administrator confirmed.
