Kalvin Phillips: West Ham's Loan Signing Reveals Kenya As His Favorite Holiday Destination
SHARE
Kenyans and indeed the Kenya tourism sector are elated after Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips described Kenya as his favourite holiday destination.

Phillips, who recently moved to West Ham United on loan from Man City in the January transfer window, had a quick-fire quiz moment with West Ham during his unveiling.

During the quick-fire, the midfielder was asked 11 questions, and one of them was his favourite holiday destination.

Without hesitating, Phillips said Kenya, before he proceeded to answer the other questions.

“What is your favourite holiday destination?” the interview asked, to which Phillips answered, “Kenya”.

The video quickly attracted the attention of Kenyans once it was uploaded by West Ham United, with many elated that such an elite sportsman recognised the country as one of the best holiday destinations.

And now the Magical Kenya, Kenya’s tourism body, has reacted to the video, thanking the midfielder for recognising Kenya, and asking him to come back for more vacation.

“Hey Kalvin Phillips, come kick it in Kenya again sometime soon, and bring the whole West Ham team with you!” Magical Kenya said.

Phillips has joined West Ham on loan as he looks for more game time, having been sidelined by Pep Guardiola, whose Man City sit second in the Premier League standings, five points behind leaders Liverpool, but with a game at hand.
