American model and rapper, Amber Rose, has explained her decision to support the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, in the upcoming presidential election.

Amber, a former critic of Trump, said her change of heart was due to her discovery that the media has been lying about the former president.

She spoke at the Republican National Convention Monday night in Milwaukee.

Trump attended the convention with a bandaged right ear after he was injured in an apparent assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pa., Saturday.

“I’m no politician and I don’t want to be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump .. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies so I’m here to set the record straight,” Amber said.

“No matter your political background, the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump president of the United States.”
