Two men who were posing as female masseuses are being held in police custody after they were accused of robbing a client Ksh.280,000 during a massage session.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said in a report on Thursday that Alex Mugo Wachira and Simon Chomba Mbogo had been posing as stunning women online offering professional massage services.

DCI added that the victim who reported his ordeal at Kasarani Police Station narrated how the luring advertisement made him visit the massage spa in Lumumba Drive, Kasarani where he was robbed of the money.

“However, moments into the “massage,” things took a sharp turn. The two whipped out knives, revealing their true identities and zero massage knowledge. Under duress, the victim was forced to transfer Sh280,000 to the suspects’ phone number, robbed of his valuables before being unceremoniously thrown out,” read the report in part.

The suspects were arrested at cozy spot in Kamiti prison area, probably using the stolen cash.

They will remain in custody pending arraignment.
